The Command Base and Volcano Base work in conjuction. The Command Base provides information, and the Volcano Base provides defense. However, their unity can easily be shattered once the bridge is breached by the oncoming attacker fleet. |

Grade: A+ » Submitted by HavocForm on 06/04/01UPDATED: All updates are server-side, so unless you wanna run the revision on your server, you don't need to re-download the map. Here are the revisions: - Map changed from day to night - Force fields were added to protect attackers' base. - Flight ceiling added to prevent everlasting bomber runs - Fog changed to match the night sky - Starry night sky textures added - MPBs were added - Second bridge added to support MPBs - Grav Cycles were added - Attackers' inventory stations are rotated a bit Overall, the MPBs and Grav Cycles being added aided the offense a bit more, and sped up the map. The night sky and smokey fog match much better with the lava/desert/badlands terrain. The second bridge now diverts attention from the first bridge and allows the defenders to repair the Birdge Generator with enough effort. Grade: B+ » Submitted by TseTse on 05/31/01I like it. Fun fun fun. Didn't crash at all. Only possible issue is the near impossible task of defending the bridge generator. I can picture a few more buildings around the mountain, easier walking over to the mountain, a wider bridge (which is a lot farther away), some defensive structures on the bridge to make hold the first gen viable, and ONLY grav cycles. :-) I wanna see 20 gravs running around that map! I.E. more balance on the defensive side of things. I donno. Don't get me wrong, it plays great as it stands. Grade: C » Submitted by Leonidas Tzu on 05/30/01Um, all this map would do is crash t2, not my computer, just a non response from t2. Not a "fatal error occured in blah blah blah" message. It would just freeze up, and ctr alt del to shut it. I guess ill hit you up on AIM. Dunno if others have had the same problem. Grade: B » Submitted by HavocForm on 05/28/01White is the best color fog for a desert/badlands map set in the day. I tried other colors, and white looked the best, especially since it matches the clouds. Thanks for the comment, but I hope you play all maps before you judge them. |

Good Job, I like what u did with the volcano. Tho I wish the attacker base was at or just above ground level.
