A balanced CTF map with two bases separated by a canyon and linked by a bridge with an objective in the middle. The bases are large but there are shortcuts to the flag which must not be ignored by defenders.

Sure, this kills FPS. But, it gets the overall B for the great concepts and in expanding T2 base concepts. The indoor mazes could use one or two more entrances and the way up from the bottom of the cavern is rather frustrating, but heck...

First of all, this has to be one of the most beautiful maps I've played for Tribes 2 yet. The colors are vibrant (I guess there were a lot of textures used) and made for a great jagged-cliffy feel. Now, before downloading, I knew this would be a killer for my computer. The bases are elaborately connected with a series of indoor catwalks (made from the wall object, I'm sure), which were very appropriate, however, a big hit to the lag. The fact that the bases are also really close together with tons of interior objects connecting them doesn't help the framerate too much either. Flying vehicles also seemed very arbitrary to me, because it was a 10 second walk to the enemy base... This is a good map, however, and if you have powerful hardware, it's definately worth a cycle through your server.

Looks good but terrain needs to be edited to look more natural (no points, more curves, texture that doesnt look so bad stretched when on the verticals)... the design is great though and a very well thought out and executed map. Next time you make a map (and you better!) I would suggest NOT doing it exactly symmetrical... just similar enough to keep it fair. It looks better, more realistic, and adds variety to maps.
