I started this map while I was fighting for FPS, thus the FOG, and lots of it. However, I ended up being pretty happy with it. The exposed flags give the map a T1 feel, and the fog will aid the less-than-Mach5 capping of T2 I also included all the new T2 vehicles, though some are easier to use than others (trucking a Jericho along the ridge lines can be a challenge). Although I have been around for a long while, this is my first publicly released may, look for custom bases to appear once the WorldCraft tools for T2 are released. |

Grade: A- » Submitted by PromethialBot on 05/14/01For some odd reason, I really enjoy this map! I mainly use for pratice, but it is simply fun, and yet still a challenge. The use of fog is great, and land setup is good, the only thing that could make it better is custom bases. I hope to lots more DALT Grade: B » Submitted by TseTse on 05/13/01Simple map. I like the fog saturation. Might lead to lots of "solo" action, however. I download a lot of maps and scripts, and I like the idea of being able to remove unwanted material easily, rather than tracking down multiple files, thus I try to package things as simply as possible. You can unzip the vl2 file if you wish, but it will run fine with it in your base directory. |

Very origonal and exciting to play. For a player that is sensor obsessed like myself, your teammates will love you! For most maps I find other than self satisfaction of seeing everyone on the command screen, no one else ever even takes notice of my sensor placement. On a map like this the command screen is your best friend, given the right placement, you can navigate better from the cs than you can with your own eyes! And if played right, the maps not for the faint hearted, people jumping right over a hill top right infront of you in a split second. totally fresh and exhillerating! Now I'd only like to see it have more peeks abouve the fog and perhaps water below. Well done.
