A deep, green valley is roughly split in half by a water filled gorge. A Capture the Flag map, each side of “Valley” occupies opposite ends of the basin and has an even number of bases and inventory stations, though the terrain for each is slightly different. Vehicle pads are present but air vehicles have been disabled. Bot support for this map is adequate, but the map really shines in “live” team combat. A good strategy would be to have a couple of heavies with missile launchers handle flag defense and the rest of the team split between general base defense and getting the enemies flag. Offence can scale the walls and travel the ridge tops. Controlling the bridge that runs along the center of the map is key.

This is a good map for 3-12 players. More than that and the it would turn into a Sniper match. This map design breaks most strategic rules of military strategy. Here there are two bases in a huge valley, surrounded on all sides by towering mountains. They are practically undefendable. Attackers can easily come straight up the middle staying to one side to avoid the turret; Stay on top of the mountains and shoot grenades, morters or snipe the enemy; Stick about midway up the mountains, where the shadows and color schemes make you difficult to see and you can wreck havoc. I loved the fog and base design, but I wish there was someway to keep players from using those mountaintops. If players were somehow forced to stay in that valley, it would be quite a different scenerio.

Hi Mr. Washy! Just played your map. I really liked it, very pretty and well thought out. I like the idea of a "shotgun" map, makes capping a challenge. I have some suggestions: The spawning is a problem, I kept spawning above ground and in the water. I see the point in not having air vehicles but a transport would be nice, a heavy will never make over to the other base. You could back off the fog just a little. Vehicle gen. should be inside building. You need RT turrets since jetting is the only way out. Lastly, the flag is too close to the side of the hill people will come off the hill then go back up it. Flag should be placed on the valley floor between the 2 bases. This will keep people in the valley. I could never make a map this good. My suggestion are meant to help not tear down. Thank you

Come on. Somebody review my map other than the guy above me. (Who obviously didn't PLAY the map as the fog works just right from the game.) Even if you think its just a piece of trite trash, let me know so I can make some improvements.
