Map Details for The Perfect Storm

Get ready for the strom of the centery!!!! Here it is, the Perfect Storm. This is an all water map with small slivers of land with just enough room for a toe or two. Deep dark seas sournd you while floating on your rig platform. There are vehical stations below the rig at sea level. There is also a floating island called Midway Island that your team may take cotrol. This map requires team work and vehical support since the deep ocean is the only way home. Watch out for the lighting and huge surf.

This map has playability problems. Unless your a capper or a flag defender you will have very little to do. Havoc are a pain to get loaded up with any heavies and the spawn issues are needed to be resolved. Water is to dense to travel in (prob with most water maps is that the maker never tests this fully) After several runs on HV I can't give this map a score better than this.

FPS eater maybe my card aint Geforce I dont encounter anything out of norm. I like the waves and the ability to fly underwater pretty well. Good map.

This is a great map. The waves really help add to the effect. While the objective isn't that important to hold, it sure is fun trying to get it and keep it. The map does have a few spawning problems though. The spawngraph generator doesn't handle vehicle pads very well. In general, though, it's a must have for every server.

Waves are cool, center island adds a good strategic element, I only gave it a B because it lags alot.

Very nice map, I like the concept of this level. Too bad it runs bad on the servers, lag and a fps eater (for voodoo users, runs fine on gf2).

really cool map... but has anobody ever thought of a sub war map? thus a mod maybe? a map with nice bottom almost no land, maybe one island for seige attacks with a base on it and the attacking team has a bast on the bottom of the ocean... or both teams have base's on the bottom... the sky limit pretty low above water and some really deep and dark water... i think it whould be awsome... oh yeah... again... a really cool map dude

Man I love this map!! It rules with a couple people, as well as with a whole bunch!!! A couple more base turrets around the edge of the bottom would make it even more challenging to penetrate the base, Good Job!!

It's annoying, yet surprisingly fun to play. The whole watery death thing is getting annoying. I hate slipping and sinking, then plodding my way back to the base. (I run as a heavy alot) The centeraly located under base vehicle station is a nice touch. Though I'm not sure how good an idea it was to put it there since it confines things and makes vehicle pile-ups happen more often.

Very nice water map. Cut down on the vehicle choices. Consider something besides ONE central neutral base, and consider more "siege" elements. The transports could fit nicely into such concepts.

Woww... *drool*

Cause that's what kind of grades I use to get. Just wanted to say that the update to this maps will have a controlable teleport at the objective island.

Ah one of the vehicle dependant maps. I have mixed feelings about those. Personally I think they would be the most potential fun since they require teamwork to be successful. However, the t2 community seems to be run by Shrike Hungry loners who do constant sucide runs at the flag and learn nothing in the process. The bad apples give the courtious players a bad rep. Anyway. I think the capturable objective was put there just for the sake of making something capturable. Both teams are good with their vehicle pad (imo) so I second one wouldn't benefit them much. Maybe if there were some rts there or something of the like. Overall, being a vehicle dependant (and therefore Teamwork dependant) map I like it.
