This is a really flat valley with bases at each end. Both teams have two structures (flag tower and main base) and each building has its own power source. You also have access to vehicle pads; they have everything but scout flyers. One more thing, they flight ceiling is low so you cant fly too high over the cliffs.

This is a fairly decent map. Perfect for large open field vehicle battles. I only found a few things that could use fixing. The bases are a bit too close for a good vehicle map, theres a glitch with the blue tunnel entrance to the bases where while at the top looking down into the base, everything is black, but soon as you jump in its as if the lights turn on. Nothing real big there. Overall this map has the coolest underground base i've ever seen. The layout is perfect with the exception of no repair packs for either side. (unless they're off in some remote location) Could use some more sentry turrets, like one at each tunnel entrance. I like the simple terrain, which allows some very fast skiing. I can't wait to play this one online. Just need some bot support.

in reply to the previous comment; the teams wern't meant to have different vehicles (just a mistake on my part) The map is now fixed and both teams have access to all of them.

Slam is a great map for long range tactics over it's large open spaces. This is a map where vehicles can be really fun and useful. The vehicle pads for the two teams however have different vehicles available. The Inferno team has all vehicles while the Storm team has all but the Shrike and bomber (This configuration is the one the map was meant to have I think.) The radar stations are set high up on the hills meaning additional pulse sensors are needed for your base turrets to be effective. The map rocks though! It just needs to have the vehicle stations fixed.
