The battle rages over two small islands. Vehicles are available and are the primary means of reaching the other island due to the deep water and steep cliffs of the islands. Basic bot support has been added.

This map ROCKS, man. Try firing mortar in the water at incoming bots and listen to the explosions on a Klipsch 4.1 THX speaker system, man. You should see the bubbles generated. This Tribes2 engine is great, man.

This map is great accept for the deepness of the water and there is to many turrets. I dont know. I've only played this map with bots, so I'll give it a... B

I think this map is very well thought out especially with the bots. I like playing against them, but there was rhis other map I played that had two islands on either side of teh map, (Bases were very rushed though) and a big volcano in the middle, I would like to have the littke island off the side to become a volcano, I tried with the T.E.D but I can't seem to find the lava, Since this map was so good I think you should coem out with Island Hop 2, It would be better....

......... I'm speechless at.......the..........might! THIS MAP ROCKS! vehicles are the golden savior that'll keep you alive in this map. If there are none left, then your best bet is to get heavy armor and deploy turrets and inventory defend the flag. the Solar panels on the roof of the bases are the only power source so they are vunerable and open, a very uncommon thing in maps which makes it original! They also power the shields for your assets so if they die your base is EXTREMELY VUNERABLE to chaingunners/shrikes. I too however noticed the strange "station is not powered" messages but they don't ruin anything. A !

I didn't have any spawn problems, but if you fell off the backside of the island, it took me about 1 minute to finally get back up. The cliffs were really to hard to navigate, but other then that a really solid map.

Sorry, not everyone can like it. Spawning in the middle of the ocean, then trying to fight my way up steep mountain cliffs to my base is aggrevating.

Very cool concept! The invo stationd do have some weird power bugs, though. The spawn points need a little work and the slopes were tough to get up. Basically, if you lost your vehicle, you're going to have a tough time getting up the enemy slope without getting killed. At least put some rocks on the slope for clamp turrets since spike turrets wont deploy on the slope. Very well alligned and it seems like a very nice concept! I would like it, though if someone would make a space texture pack and make like "starship" maps. I think i saw some in the beta movie at IGN, though.

Comments thus far are right-on. This is a beautiful map. Kills FPS though. Needs more distance and a few more islands or something. Some odd "power" messages when at inventory stations. I predict lots of duel-flag chasing on this one whereby vehicle chasing wins the day.

Although the bases are close together, if you fall in the ocean, they seem miles apart. The only things i don't like about it are the vehicle pads facing away from the enemy bases, and the ultra steep slopes. They make it so only lights, and those lucky enough to be equipped with energy packs can get up to the bases. I forsee great under water battles though.

The concept is very good, just needs a little tweaking. The spawn points need some work, and the hills need a little leveling.

The positive: Great base design, and the threat level on the flag is high. That is the only thing really enjoyable here. The negative: The spawn point above the water is annoying. The cliffs need to have less of an incline to increase ski potential. Add some smaller middle islands to bounce from. With a few minor improvements I think thsi map could be fun to play. Very cool map! A definate change of pace. The only problem i have with it is the respawn spot... about 100 feet in the air above water and equal distance between both bases. Gets kinda annoying have to run a long ways to get supplies.

Excellent job on the layout, very coolio. (The bases look like beach houses-lol) The hills coulda been a little bit less steep (I know there's a word for that but I couldn't remember it) BOTTEM LINE: It r0x0rs your b0x0rs. :)

Great map, a bit annoying when there is 64 players and you can't get a vehicle. Could've been less steap hills, but extremely good overall.
