Grade: C+ » Submitted by v5planet on 05/04/01This is a pretty neat map, and good for the first gen of T2 maps, but it's not without it's problems. It's horrible to log onto a game only to find your base already destroyed and your entire team frantically looking around for the nonexistant repair packs. Or maybe there ARE repair packs, but we certainly don't know where they are. This is a HORRIBLE hit to gameplay. So once your power is down you can't use your vehicle station. I've found that I could barely cross the map on the platforms with anything less than a light armor with an energy pack. That doesn't make for good fun play. Basically, the first base to get destroyed loses, from my experience. The other team just keeps raping the base and killing the team with frequent bomber runs....*sigh* Grade: B » Submitted by Mathias on 05/03/01Its a great map, but its not finished yet. The main bases are very very sparse. I could only find a handful of inv. stations and I couldn't find the repair pack either. I like the multiple platforms. Makes sure that only flag cappers with skill can make it to the enemy flag without a vehicle. Should definately consider moving the flag indoors. It seems such a waste that the main chamber of each base are totally bare. Fix these small probs and you'll have a great map. But besides that its a good flying map for airplanes if you want the practice |
